Hello zoners, so I’m running windows XP and jaws 7.1.
I just upgraded windows messenger and it came along with windows mail.
my problem is I am unable to type a message, I am able to type in the address and subject fields but when I tab over to the message field I am unable to type anything, I did try tabbing over more but nothing happend and when I press the h key jaws says there are no headings, so I tried the f key and jaws says no form fields, I did try pressing enter to put jaws into forms mode but did not work, can somebody please tell me what I need to do so I can type a message.
Thank you.

You can't use windows mail my friend. Go back to the regular and you'll be fine.

Nope, Windows mail is unaccessible with JAWS. Switch over to wineyes.

either switch over to a screen reader (like window eyes, which you might not have bought anyway) or just get on IRC and instant message that way through bitlbee... sorry, but the only versions of messenger that work with jaws are 7.5 and below; however, if you still wanna use a silly GUI, you can stick to windows messenger and messenger plus, both free anyway. Alternatively and mostly unfortunately, revert back to the classic hotmail settings. Microsoft is trying to get everyone into their incompetent business practice and making everyone try windows mail. You can also upgrade jaws to jaws 8 and hopefully it would work better.

Jaws 7 and up work with all messengers. Windows male is different then windows live mail which is through Hotmail and has several settings.

lol just stick to the CLI. Works better, less ram usage, no accessibility issues.
